Job Description:


The Chief Financial Officer directs and supervises the financial management of the entire Gunnison Valley Health organization including hospital accounting, financial management, patient financial services, information technology, health information management, materials management. 











  •  Responsible for the annual budget, annual audit, and supervision of the financial services of the Senior Services side (SNF, Assisted Living and Home Medical Services). 



  •  Develops the annual budget, annual audit and direction of the financial services of the SNF, Assisted Living and Home Medical Services.


  • This position assumes the overall direction for all accounting operations including accounts payable, payrolls and general ledger management for the entire health system (Hospital, Senior Care Center, Home Medical Services and Assisted Living)


  • Serves as an integral member of the Senior Management Team and sets the tone for strategic development, performance, and culture of the organization.


  • Develops, trains and evaluates staff in Finance, Patient Financial Services, Health Information Technology, Supply Chain Management and Rehabilitative departments.


  • Provides oversight of Gunnison Valley Health's investment portfolio in collaboration with the CEO and members of the Board of Trustees and Board Finance Committee.

Requirements:





  •  A minimum of five years accounting and finance leadership experience in an acute care hospital


  • Critical Access Hospital experience is preferred.


  •  A strong background in capital financing is a plus.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
